Mr. T. J. Wilson Group Director – Finance & Administration An expert healthcare administrator with more than two decades of experience in healthcare finance and administration, Mr. Wilson started his career in India and joined the group as a Financial Controller in 1998. His qualification as a graduate of commerce from University of Calicut and an Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India form the background of his skills and expertise. With his overall professional experience in diversified fields, he was successful in centralizing the activities of the organization. His astute Financial, Project Management and Human Resource Development skills made him scale the heights of accomplishment to become the General Manger - Finance & Administration for the Group in 2003. He is instrumental in transforming the vision of the group to grow as the largest healthcare provider in the Middle East and India. In his current position as the Group Director, his primary role is the overall management of and strategic planning for the Group, which includes expansion of the organization in the regions of UAE, Oman, Qatar and India. Mr. Jobilal M. Vavachan Assistant General Manager – Operations Starting his career in the pharmaceutical industry in India, Mr. Jobilal moved to UAE in 1996 and became a part of D M Healthcare in 2005 as Senior Manger – Operations for pharmacy division. A graduate in pharmacy from the University of Bangalore and pharmacist by profession, Mr. Jobilal possesses thorough operational knowledge in pharmacy retailing and has special interest in Training & Development of Human Resources. His association with the pharmacy division witnessed a colossal growth in the pharmacy network. The number of pharmacies went up from single to double digits and then to dozens and scores. His leadership innovation in retail management, and Supply Chain Management for retail pharmacies was the prime contributor in this growth and eventually led him to the position of Assistant General Manager for Aster Pharmacies in 2008. His skills and determination towards efficiency and excellence brought him the additional responsibilities of overseeing the operations of Aster Medical Centres as well. He strives to continue and contribute to the evolution and success of Aster in the future. Mr. Kartik Thakrar Senior Manager – Finance A bachelor of commerce from university of Calicut, India and a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Mr. Kartik headed in the direction of financial management right from the beginning when he started his career in a healthcare organization in India in 1998. He got associated with D M Healthcare in 2003 as the manager for Finance and supervised the Finance and Accounting operations. Mr. Kartik is extensively involved in the planning and execution process, specially in bringing Private Equity partners. The demonstration of his abilities in his assignments got him his current position of Senior Manager – Finance in 2008. In this capacity, he is responsible for the finance and accounting operations including risk management, finance reporting, tax planning and budgeting process. He is an integral part of the senior executive team at D M Healthcare and is involved in all strategic decisions including project feasibility, business acquisitions, capital investments, internal process and systems review, development of new business models and investor relations. Mr. Hanif Mohammed Senior Manager – Accounts Mr. Hanif became a part of D M Healthcare in 1992 few years after completing his graduation in Commerce from Calicut University India. His skills in his field set him on a fast paced professional growth trajectory backed by his sincere hard work. Constantly exhibiting his proficiency in accounting, he soon joined the rank of Senior Manager Accounts. As a highly experienced professional in his field of work, he has been responsible for guiding his colleagues and juniors regularly. His current responsibilities include supervision and coordinating the entire accounting activities for the pharmacy division. His undying quest for accuracy in his work is cited as an example in the organization. His passion is to see the group attain gargantuan size and success in the years to come. Mr. David D. Aroujo Senior Manager – Information Technology After completing his graduation in commerce from Calicut University in India, Mr. David went on to pursue Information and System Management as a career. He soon started his career in India as a System Analyst and Programmer. He moved to UAE and became a part of D M Healthcare in 2001. It was quickly identified that he is a genius in his own right as he developed and implemented the information systems for Aster pharmacies and Medical Centres. As the Senior Manager for Information Technology he is responsible for continuous system analysis, design, implementation and improvisation. System automation has been his dream and passion throughout his career which he seeks now even more than before as D M Healthcare poises to become the largest healthcare provider in various geographies. Mr. Mathew T. S. Senior Manager – Human Resources As he completed his Master’s degree in Social Work from Rajasthan University India in 1998, Mr. Mathew was all set to take on his favorite field of personnel management. He started his career in India in the field of Human resources management and administration before moving to Gulf region. He became a part of D M Healthcare in 2007 as there was a perfect match of a manager pursuing his career in employee development and human resource management and the organization always welcoming professionals with a drive to excel at what they do. Mr. Mathew currently holds the position of Senior Manger - Human Resource Management and is responsible for supervising the related management activities for Aster Pharmacies, Medical Centres and Hospital in the UAE region. Complaint management and people development is his forte as he fondly plays the role of a guide and guardian for most of the employees in the organization. He fervently seeks his passion to make D M Healthcare the employer of choice for all healthcare professionals. Mr. Anwar Hussain Manager Operations While pursuing his graduation in pharmacy from Bangalore University India, Mr. Anwar had decided that a career in pharmaceutical management is his calling. He became a part of D M Healthcare in 2000 but the seeds of management were sown in his conscious while pursuing his Masters in Business Administration from Kerala University. Starting his career in the company as a pharmacist, he had flair a for supply chain management from the beginning. His interest in the subject along with his education and skills soon led him to the position of Assistant Manger Purchase which subsequently made him the Manager for Purchase in 2008. But the buck didn’t stop here; his undaunted perseverance in the face of any and every challenge soon established him as the fitting candidate for his current position of Manager - Operations. His passion for excellence is one of the driving forces behind his success. Mr. Farook Noormohammad Manager Operations Holding a Masters’ degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, the success story of Mr. Farook is right out of an achiever’s guide in management. He began his journey with D M Healthcare in 1995 playing the crucial role of Unit Manager at pharmacy. His dedication towards work and his exceptional flair for management soon led him through the various phases of successes to become the Manager - Operations for the various handful units of Aster pharmacy. His current responsibilities include operational management, resource planning and allocation, supply chain management and manpower planning. He plays a significant role in long term planning for the further expansion and development of Aster pharmacies. It was his unperturbed dedication that helped him write his own success story. His zeal for achievement is a live example for all others around him to follow and pursue. His passion as he defines it is to see the group grow to enormous strength and expanse as he witnesses the same while being a part of it. Mr. Ravindra Kumar Manager Operations Starting his career in the healthcare sector in India, Mr. Ravindra moved to the UAE for a career in the pharmaceutical sector full of opportunities for growth and learning. He gained wide experience working in this sector before joining D M Healthcare in 2008, which he saw as the right organization for further leveraging his learning experience and professional growth. He used his experience and skills to instantly adapt to the working environment and currently holds the position of Manager Operations responsible for various Aster Pharmacies across UAE. His inclination towards excitement at work leads him to divulge in Business Development activities for Aster pharmacies. His customer centric approach is one of his greatest strengths.
